ASTM D5025 Horizontal and Vertical Combustion / Flammability Tester For Wire and Cable
1. Application
ZY6014-VHR Intelligent Wire and Cable Horizontal Vertical Combustion Tester is suitable for testing the flame retardant performance of an insulated wire core in a single wire and cable in a vertical/horizontal state with a prescribed flame direct combustion. The box is reasonable in structure, convenient and accurate for testing, and conforms to GB/T12666.1-2008 vertical combustion test and GB/T1266. 6.2-2008 Horizontal Combustion Test Requirements are widely used by wire and cable manufacturers, colleges and universities, and commodity inspection departments.

3. Main Technical Parameters
(1) The machine is composed of two parts, the combustion chamber and the control part.
(2) Test box: the volume is 4.18 m3. The area above the test flame is larger than 2.0 m3; the box is made of frame, covered with 1.2 mm thick electrostatic high-temperature paint plate, NC machine tool processing molding, external spraying treatment, internal baking paint has two layers of paint, one layer of anti-rust paint, two layers of black matt paint, with anti-rust and corrosion characteristics.
(3) The top of the box is equipped with ventilation and smoke exhaust system. The power of the fan is 370 W, and forced exhaust is used. The exhaust gas can be discharged to the outside after the test is completed.
(4) Operating equipment: There are two operating windows under the observation window, each with a long corrosion-resistant long arm glove of about 600 mm, which is convenient for sealing operation.
(5) Spray lamp: The nominal power of the spray lamp is 500W, which fully meets the requirements of GB/T5169.15-2001 and ASTM D 5025-99.
(6) The diameter of the nozzle is 0.90 ± 0.03 mm, the length of the nozzle lamp is 1.60 ± 0.05 mm, and the height between the nozzle and the air inlet is 102 mm.
(7) Flame height: natural intake, internal flame 40 mm, external flame 125 mm, equipped with flame gauge.
(8) Temperature correction device: the heat conduction device uses the extremely high conductivity copper, the weight is 10 g. The temperature of copper blocks increased from 100℃ ± 5℃ to 700℃ ± 3℃, with time 54s ± 3s.
(9) Gas: Technical grade methane (purity at least 98%) nominal calorific value 37.3 MJ/m3, allowing the use of other grades of methane, natural gas, gas or propane.
